Description
Baffle Ceiling, also known as Acoustic Sound Baffle or hanging baffle metal ceiling, according to Wikipedia, is an open type ceiling construction. It is a set of vertically hung linear profiles in various patterns and combinations, made up of aluminum , wood or any sound absorbing material, that reduces the strength (level) of airborne sound. Baffle ceiling provides a view and access to the plenum area and concrete ceiling above.
Acoustic Sound Baffles are a kind of suspended ceiling system, or drop out ceiling, an excellent choice for use in spaces that are large, have limited wall space and may require restricted visual and physical access to services at ceiling level.

KONSTRUX BFC 1, 2, 12 Baffle System
Our Innovative Baffle Ceiling System BFC 1, 2, 12 has mainly Two Aluminium Section Profiles; one is KONSTRUXBFC-1 and second is KONSTRUXBFC-2. The USP of KONSTRUX Baffle ceiling system is that the KONSTRUXBFC-1 and KONSTRUXBFC-2 can also be combined to form a new type of Baffle System called as KONSTRUXBFC-12, and all of them can be hung in two different angles. This allows a possibility of 6 combinations of shapes. These shapes can be hung in different patterns. further, these shapes and patterns can be finished with endless different combinations of colours and materials
KONSTRUXBFC-1 is one of a kind linear slim Aluminium channel, that has a capacity to hold various types of materials and a huge number of material combinations to provide great aesthetic looks to the ceiling.
The capability of holding different types of materials on each exposed surface makes it possible to provide two different types of patterns visible from two opposite sides of the room. It can even accommodate edge-lit acrylic for interesting light effects.

KONSTRUXBFC-12 is a combination of KONSTRUXBFC-1 and KONSTRUXBFC-2. The USP of this Baffle ceiling is that, we can merge these two profiles with each other by assembling them mechanically, providing a new innovative way of baffle hanging system and different orientation and multiple faces have a capacity to hold various types of materials and a huge number of patterns, finishes, and combinations on multiple faces.
KONSTRUXBFC-12 Baffle Ceiling System has the uniqueness of holding the very vast number of different types of materials on each exposed surface. Which makes it possible to provide different types of patterns with each assembly and orientation type. That can be visible from two opposite sides of the room.

Baffle Ceiling System BFC 3 (any height x 40 mm)
KONSTRUX has launched another innovative concept in open Baffle Ceiling Systems, BFC 3, which is very economic and of very flexible size and finishes. Effectively, this system is so versatile and economic that it can be used virtually in all the projects.

Similar to earlier patent applied Baffle Ceilings BFC1 and BFC2, this system can also take various kind of finishing materials, but these materials are not changeable easily. In addition, BFC3 system can be delivered in any section height. The best innovative feature of this system is that it is designed to intelligently cut down the cost of chassis frame to minimum while giving the flexibility of any height.
This modular baffle ceiling system BFC3 is a 2 component frame which can be assembled together to form a complete frame of any height as per requirement. This is made possible by making a trussed channel with intermediate aluminium plates riveted to the end channel sections. This strategy results in overall reduction of economy of material and cost.
Slots on both sides of the complete frame can hold 10 to 12mm thick finishing material like prelaminated particle board, cork sheet, veneered ply, 3mm lacquered glass on particle board backing etc. One of the most innovative use of BFC3 can be to insert 10mm thick mineral tile cuttings in the slots (Mineral fibre tiles used in grid false ceiling have high NRC value and are very cost effective). Prelaminated particle board can also have printed vinyl pasted on it. Acoustic sheets can also be backed on prelaminated ply and used in this system.
The resulting baffle ceiling is very economic. In addition the height of this system can go as high as 300 mm or may be 600 mm if the design requires so. More is the height of the section, more economic would be the per unit area cost of the ceiling.
The possibility of varying height and multiple colours or finishes can make this a very versatile design tools in hands of designers.

Baffle Ceiling System BFC 4 (100 x 25 mm and 100 x 50 mm)
KONSTRUX is also making a generic box design of Baffle Ceiling in sizes 100 x 25 mm as well as 100 x 50 mm to cater to client requirements.
BFC 4 comes in various finishes including solid colours as well as wood texture powder coating.
This baffle ceiling can be fixed to a sub frame of slotted angles with proprietary aluminium hanging clips or directly with help of allen bolts.

Baffle Ceiling System BFC 5 (75 x 40 mm, stackable in multiple heights of 75 mm)
BFC 05 is a truly modular Aluminium Baffle Ceiling System which can be stacked vertically in multiples of 75mm, thus providing an amazing possibility of creatively shaped baffles with array of colours and patterns. This affords an opportunity to designers and architects to create unique baffle ceilings and aesthetics for their spaces.
BFC05 can be installed in two ways – upside as well as reversed for incorporating LED lighting at bottom in entire or part length, as desired. It be installed with very simple proprietary hook section or directly with M5 bolts.
